AC Hotel Gainesville Downtown

Always a blast, perfect location, the staff is AMAZING especially Hue at check in, Thomas at the bar and Lauren who found my phone in the bathroom! Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Excellent experience at the AC! Perfect location for gainesville exploring and has lovely staff. Tori, one of the bartenders, was amazing. Incredibly kind, exemplary service, and made killer drinks too. Will definitely be back!!!

Great hotel, some of the best coffee in the lobby that I’ve had of any hotel. Not a fan of the expensive valet service. this is about the price of the service not the quality of the service. The young men who were doing the valet service were extremely polite very friendly very attentive. It’s just a lot to charge for a valley service in a small town my opinion.

nice hotel, one of the nicest in Gainesville. great location, twelve min walk to O'Connell center. has a luxury feel at a reasonable cost. only downside, why the heck no NBC? had to go across the street for SNF.

The staff here really is wonderful. The rooms themselves have been great. I think the maintenance leaves a little to be desired. For example, the ice machines work on probably every other floor. The pool and landscaping was a little neglected last time I was there. That said, we love staying here. The location is amazing for on/near UF campus activities.

Location was perfect. If you’re visiting campus, it’s a very close walk right across the street. The rooms were very clean and staff was friendly. The rooms are very noisy though. You can hear the elevator ding and people talking throughout the night, even down the hallway. Also, the bathroom door doesn’t feel very private. It’s a sliding door that was a little finicky to get it to close all the way.

We chose to stay at this hotel because of it's location to the Music College at UF. The check-in process was seamless and the room was spotless. We were tired in the evening and opted to order takeout at the lounge to eat in our room. The bartender was attentive and placed our order quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by the ribeye steak and the salmon. The salads and vegetables were also fresh and delicious. We would come again!

It’s a great hotel in a great location in downtown Gainesville. Less than a mile walk to the stadium and the arena at UF. Great rooms with a luxury looking bathroom and super comfortable bed. Only drawbacks were $42 valet parking (no self parking), and the ice machine on floor 8 did not work. We also saw them lose a ton of business at the bar after the game on Friday night when the ESPN crew in town wanted food at 9:30pm but they cut off food at 9pm, even on weekends. The crew left and went elsewhere.
